X-ray showed my tail bone had a small fracture

I wanted to share my experience with tailbone pain and recovery. I had started feeling discomfort while sitting after a fall in Feb 2018. Initially I assumed that the pain would subside on its own but that didn't happen and I had to eventually meet an orthopedist. I was recommended sitz baths and certain exercises. I tried everything including physiotherapy but nothing seemed to work. I also started using a cushion specially designed to take the stress off the tailbone.

After dealing with the pain for more than a year I decided on trying something else. That's when I found doctor Rajveer Singh on google search (see Doctors and specialists in India). I read a lot of positive reviews and then contacted him. He was really positive and we scheduled an appointment for December 2019.

I met him and for the first time in two years I felt that this condition could be treated. We first got an X-ray done and found that my tail bone had a small fracture and it was anterior.

Soon we started with internal manipulation, exercises and stretching. Doctor Rajveer made me feel comfortable and after the first 6 days of treatment I felt a lot better. I then had follow up appointments in Delhi as well as Bangalore. He was even available on calls when I had some queries regarding my condition.

I had my last appointment in Dec 2020 and now I have started sitting completely without any cushion. Though I still need to exercise to strengthen my glutes but I'm totally satisfied with my treatment.

I would recommend doctor Rajveer to anyone who is going through the same thing. I had lost all hope as most doctors told me that I'll have to live with the pain as it cannot be treated easily but thanks to Doctor Rajveer I'm totally fine now.

Thanks and Regards,

Shikha

Update, 2022-05-22

I am in much better condition. I still work on strengthening my muscles and flexibility. There's a little discomfort once in a while and it's not the coccyx but the surrounding muscle and it's manageable. I don't go for any more treatments as my body is in much better state.
