Manipulations were pain-free

I'm 32 years old and I have suffered from coccyx pain in a severe and debilitating way since 2019. My problem was caused by a trauma I had about 16 years ago which wasn't properly cured at that time.

Here in Italy I was offered only steroids injections that never worked and surgery but I was warned that it could have ended up making things worse. So, looking for resources about this condition, I found this site and noticed that Dr Durtnall from Sayer Clinic (see Doctors and specialists in the UK, London) was consistently named as a possible treatment option. I decided to go to London as this was my best chance to try and improve my condition.

Dr Durtnall is extremely competent and immediately pointed out what was wrong with me after taking X-rays of my spine and started working on me with manipulations which I found to be absolutely pain free. Each time I go there for treatments I come back to Italy feeling better. During the day I try to stand as much as possible and, as advised, I keep on using a wedge cushion while sitting that helps a lot.

To me it's been a very long journey (that's not already ended) because of the pandemic that made it difficult for me to fly but I am sure I am in the right place and best hands possible if I want to try everything before surgery.

I immediately felt at ease with him and he undoubtedly represents the best choice for anyone who is facing this terrible and debilitating condition.

My recovery has not ended yet but I'm hopeful. I couldn't recommend him more!

Unfortunately I couldn't get rid of the problem, I've visited many times Dr Durtnall while he was still practising, and after he "retired" I've been seeing Robert Griffith, but I still have got the pain if I sit for some time even with the cushion which I use every time I can't avoid to sit.

I was thinking after all these years to finally have the surgery but I am too afraid about the risk of being worse, I've been to Mr Hardy in London back in April and he told me about the surgery but I didn't understand, not being English my first language, if it's a safe choice or not in terms of relief.
