Hello Folks,

I had bad coccyx pain for a while, unbearable pain upon sitting.

Here is what has made my pain go from 10/10 (extreme pain) to 1/10 (very little to no pain) pain level. Pain still persists only when I'm in a car seat for very long, 3+ hours, however goes away within 1-3 hours and the following has helped tremendously:

- Started taking vitamin B-12 supplements (1000 mcg - 1 dose daily)

- Purchased a stand-up desk + anti-fatigue mat and alternate between both sitting + standing

- U-shaped seating cushion whenever I do sit (at work, cars, dinner, etc.)

- Purchased this massage ball with spikes for CAD $10 for times when I do sit long (i.e. work meetings, airports); I basically lodge it between the wall and my coccyx, and move/massage. Back and forth, side to side. Provides a lot of relief. Carry this ball with me in my purse wherever I go!

- Door supported squats: or any exercise that is similar and allows you to release the whole pelvic area

- Pelvic physiotherapist does internal manipulation (Maggie Hul in Hamilton, ON, see Doctors and specialists in Canada, Ontario)

- Chiropractor (he pinpoints the pain from my pelvic bone instead) directly instead external manipulation from buttocks/coccyx area (Paul Dixon in Hamilton, ON, see Doctors and specialists in Canada, Ontario)
