The Magic of Michael....

We knew our young son had a problem of sorts as he clearly found sitting uncomfortable, and the GPs, over the years, offered various explanations.

Fast forward to his teens, where he became taller and thinner and the problem became more acute. Suspecting a coccyx issue, I researched the conventional route to diagnosis and realised my son would not be happy with the required tests.

It was then that I decided to do some alternative research. And I found the Sayer Clinic.

And Michael. (see Doctors and specialists in the UK, London)

I emailed at 7.30 am in the morning and received a personal email from Michael within minutes. I was so impressed. And his words were so encouraging.

So, with some trepidation, my son and I booked tickets from Sheffield to Earls Court to visit the lovely clinic that is the Sayer Clinic in Kensington.

An x ray and consultation later, and we had hope that a course of visits (very reasonably priced, we thought, for Kensington) would sort out this long term, debilitating condition of a fused coccyx.

I won't pretend that the treatment didn't look medieval.... Michael, expertly, and in stages, manipulated the offending joints very gradually, little by little, such that my son, 18 months on, can watch a film from beginning to end whilst sitting (!), he can participate in sports hitherto impossible and perch pain free almost wherever he chooses. And for a young man who has grown up unable to sit properly without chronic pain, this is revolutionary.

So we thank Michael from the bottom of our hearts for his attentiveness, positivity and life-advice. And for the result.

My son is obviously suitably impressed. His intended choice of career now.... a chiropractor!

Note from Jon Miles:

I emailed more than a year after this story was posted, to ask for an update, as the long-term outcome of treatment is of great interest. In this case I did not get a reply.
