Injection decreased pain almost 90%

I fell down the stairs in the year 2009. I applied to the hospital with severe pains. I was told that there were fracture and dislocation in my tail bone. They gave me a sitting ring and medication was started. Nothing had changed in my health condition when I went to check after 15 days. I was not able to stand up without getting support from where I was sitting. My pain increased especially when I tried to stand up. My doctor told me that it would take time to recover.

I began searching a more experienced doctor through the internet and I reached Dr. Elif Gurkan at the end (see Doctors and specialists in Turkey). She wanted me to have an X-ray in sitting and standing position. She applied injection treatment.

I returned to my work after 10 days. My pain have decreased almost 90 %. It's been 9 years since treatment. I do not feel any pain while sitting and standing. I am very well. I think that I could not recover in such a short time if I did not find the Dr. Elif Gurkan. She is very experienced about the pains in the tail bone I advise her to everybody who has such pains.

Note from Jon Miles:

I emailed more than a year after this story was posted, to ask for an update, as the long-term outcome of treatment is of great interest. In this case I did not get a reply.
