Nerve blocks

I am scheduled to have ganglion impar nerve block for coccyx pain, in St. Louis. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had it, how painful is the procedure, how much relief, how long does it last? Would you recommend it? I am thankful to have found this site! I also found the name of a physiotherapist only 30 minutes away, who does manual manipulation.
