Recommendation for a chiropractor

I have had a long standing coccyx problem and nobody could tell me why - it just came on gradually about 3 years ago. I do a lot of driving so thought maybe that had something to do with it, but my GP said that wasn't very likely. I had an x-ray through the hospital which was normal and was offered an injection. The thought of an injection in my coccyx sounded really unpleasant so I started looking elsewhere.

I've been on your website before but there wasn't anybody local to me listed. I saw a few people saying they had gotten relief from seeing a chiropractor so I went to Worcester Chiropractic Clinic and saw Geoff Long (see Doctors and specialists in the UK, Worcestershire) who told me that I had a shortened muscle around my pelvis. He did some adjustments, stretching and some acupuncture and after three visits my pain has completely gone. He also gave me some advice about how to modify my seating position and a couple of exercises to stop it from happening again.

I can't rate him highly enough, he's a really nice bloke and really knowledgeable.

Note from Jon Miles:

I emailed more than a year after this story was posted, to ask for an update, as the long-term outcome of treatment is of great interest. In this case I did not get a reply.
