I had my removal surgery 3 months ago and I am sad to say that I am worse pain than before. It's so depressing. I have traveled back to Jacksonville twice where I had the surgery done and he done a MRI, found nothing and was told there isn't anything else left for us to do for you...now, you have to start going to pain management. It's so scary and heartbreaking after 10 years of chronic tailbone pain (but only when I sat for periods of time) and I was so happy and so positive about this surgery and now it's the total opposite. I pray everyday for God to heal me and take this awful pain away. The pain is constant, really unbearable at times. I have been off work for 3 months, supposed to go back in 2 weeks and I am so scared that I want be able to not only drive the distance to work (40 mins) each way but possibly not be able to perform my duties at work (lots of bending and lifting).
The last thing Dr. Keller (see Doctors and specialists in the USA, Florida) tried on me was a cortisone injection, but it did nothing! I am pleading to anyone that has any advice or maybe has had the same experience as I am having to please email me.
I am so happy for everyone that got the relief and their surgeries were successful.
