Pain started after cystoscopy

I have been experiencing what I believe is coccyx pain along with some rectal discomfort. This has been since July. I went to see my doctor who felt it is coccydynia. I have tried Ibuprofen and Naproxen and nothing really seems to help. It's there all the time, and doesn't really respond to repositioning. I have had no trauma to that area - I have seen a chiropractor who feels it is spine related.

This pain started after I had a cystoscopy (endoscopy of the bladder).
