My name is Yasmin Khan, I am 47 years old.
Three years ago I did some heavy lifting at work and was a bit achy. Two days later, I suddenly started to get 'electric shock' stabbing pains in my left leg and pains in the coccyx area. They were so violent that sometimes I would fall on the floor screaming. I had to give up work after six months of this. I started a frustrating journey with neurosurgeons, neurologists, a pain clinic, osteopathy, all to no avail, they couldn't see what was going on on the scans.
I saw a Chiropractor who witnessed on of these 'shocks'. The Chiropractor recommended his colleague, Caragh Pittam (see Doctors and specialists in the UK, London) who has been a chiropractor for 25 years. After seeing Caragh a year ago, things are a lot better. She has manipulated my coccyx several times, giving me massive relief. She also really listens. I am not fully better yet, but feel well on the way.
