Injured March 8, 2007 during colonoscopy procedure. Pain is 24 hours a day for past 4 months with no relief. Using advil and gabapentin with only slight effect.

Has anyone else injured their coccyx during (1) hospital procedure (2) by CNS depressants used for sedation administered by anesthesiologist (3) by hospital staff moving patient while sedated?

Pain is in hips and radiates down both legs. Feet sometimes are numb. This is absolutely terrible. Female, age 54. No significant medical problems prior to this colonoscopy procedure.

Margie Seafeldt, Seattle, Washington.
