Pain in tailbone area when flexing

A day or two ago, I felt pain in my tailbone area, but wasn't sure of the cause. It felt like a bad bruise like I had fallen on my backside, but I hadn't fallen or anything. It was a little discomforting but I figured it was just a bruise and would go away.

Well today it got much worse, at first I thought it was a bruise but then began thinking it may be something internal since it would hurt A LOT more at certain times like when I'm bending and when the muscles back there "flex", then calm down. I really had no idea what it was and then tried looking it up online and came upon this site. I am wondering if this sounds like coccyx pain.

I think the most notable thing about my pain is its excruciating when I flex back there. And is there anything I can do about this? I am a 23 year old male. If anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it. Thanks
