Miserable one year after childbirth

Amy - jcocca@cox.net

What a blessing this site has been! I had my first child about a year ago. My labor was progressing normally until the anesthesiologist had trouble getting the epidural in. After about 20 minutes of sitting up waiting for him to get it, I felt the baby drop down quickly and I had to push. I am not sure if this caused my injury or not, but it is the only thing I can think of.

Since then, life has been tough. I went to a general surgeon (big mistake) who "shaved off a small piece" which he thought was causing the problem . . NOT!

It has been 4 months and the pain is still there. So he referred me to an orthopedic surgeon (in a group of 20 orthopedic doctors . . none have ever done the surgery!!) Anyways, he gave me a kenalog injection and it is really hurting worse now. It has been 5 days, and I know the shots cause more pain before they make it better..but for how long???

Anyone know of any experienced doctors in the Virginia Beach area??

I am begging..my one-year old is sick and I can't even rock him!

I am only 29... and I feel 79. Thanks for letting me share.
