Sitting hell

Posted 2009-05-31

Hi I am a 46 years old female. I had a fall about 12 years ago; where I slipped on the second last step and fell on my buttocks. I felt no pain but passed out for a few minutes. I went to the doctor had x-rays etc - all was perfect.

The pain started about four years ago. Sitting was my greatest fear because of the pain. Having to get up from sitting position was a nightmare. I have had anti-inflammatory & injections. Helps only for that time.

Sitting on a high stool in comparison to a low chair has been beneficial to me. I use a heater pad almost every night .this has helped me greatly. I am now almost free of pain.
