I have suffered with pain for a couple of years. I fell down some stairs about 1 year ago at that time I broke my tailbone. However, I didn't know why I was in so much pain. My family doctor did an x-ray. The x-ray showed that my tailbone was bent. I was then referred to a spine specialist. I received several trigger point injections. To no avail, the pain wasn't relieved. He then scheduled me for surgery.
I had surgery on May 17, 2007. My doctor told my family he couldn't understand how I was living with the pain. My tailbone had actually broken off and just floating around.
I am about 4 months out and unfortunately I am still in a lot of pain. However, not as bad as before the surgery.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I am still having the pain?????
