I am coping well with my coccydnia and learning to adapt my life around it. Just to put you in the picture, I had an L5/S1 fusion in October 2002 (degenerating disc) and in Jan 2005 I had my coccyx removed. It didn't help with the pain and now I am having pain management with varying forms of success.
My partner and I want to start trying for a baby at the end of this year and I am concerned about whether I will be able to have a natural delivery or not in light of my pre existing coccydnia. Will I be advised to have a c section as a natural birth will exacerbate the existing pain? I would be grateful for your view or those of anyone out there!
Thanks
Natalie
