6 years ago I gave birth to a healthy 7 pound baby girl. The delivery was painful but normal, 24 hours later after the affects of pain relief wore off I could not raise my legs. I was in agony.
It took a further 3 days before the midwife finally stopped calling me mardy and got me a doctor who diagnosed me with having a split pubis which is really rare. Since then I have had a course of physio. It took me 3 months to lose the wheelchair and about 6 months to feel well again.
However I am still, 6 years later, still suffering with my coccyx. This actually seems to be getting worse and my doctors don't seem to listen. Found out more info on this site than anywhere. Thank you!
