When I was 16 I had my first child. I had a spinal block which then (18 years ago) they injected at the end of the tailbone.
When I was around 20 I started having flare ups of a knot on my tailbone - it would just come and go. I first blamed the pain on some beaded seat covers that I had in my car-I got rid of them but I continued to have these flare ups. I did ask my gynecologist about it - she claimed she did not feel anything. I thought I was nuts.
I am now 35 and I continue to have this pain on and off with a knot that forms-about the size of a large marble. I just discovered your site today and have read on others about a pilonidal cyst. I would appreciate feedback and any info.
