I thought at first that my coccyx was the site of my pain, but after several rounds of anti-inflammatories and some ice treatments my pain localized to the right of my tail bone. Very painful when I sit on that part of my butt or when I move my pelvis outward. Can anyone tell me if they have had this experience with what they thought was coccyx but was actually muscles/ligaments that may be attached to the coccyx?
