I slipped and fell at work over three months ago and broke my tailbone. About a week after I fell, I noticed numbness on the whole left side of my body. I went back to the hospital and they did a cat scan of my spine and head but could find nothing. I finally had a cortizone shot and that helped my pain some (I felt about 80-90% healed), but as soon as I went back to work, the numbness came back. I tried to ignore it but tonight it was so bad that I got dizzy. Even my arms and lips were numb. My boss sent me home.
I am so frustrated and don't know what to do. I am going to try to make an urgent appt with my general physician tomorrow and see what she says. Has anyone had any experience with this? If so, please e-mail me at amandasuehall@yahoo.com
