Dr. Grant Shapiro was very professional. I found him on this website and went to see him because I knew from previous x-rays my coccyx bone was misaligned.
Upon his exam he confirmed that it was positioned anterior instead of straight down. I changed into a gown and was completely covered the entire procedure with towels.
It was very obvious that Dr. Shapiro was experienced and knew how to make the patient feel comfortable. The internal rectal adjustment took maybe 12 seconds and I did not feel pain only some discomfort. He said he could actually feel it click back into place.
Immediately after the adjustment upon standing I could feel that my tailbone was no longer pulling down on my back muscles because of its previous forward position.
I am relieved that Dr. Shapiro was in Arizona where I reside. Thank God for good Doctors willing to do such unique work! See Doctors and specialists in the USA.
