I want to thank you for setting up this website. It is a tremendous resource for information regarding tailbone injuries. I injured my tailbone from lifting weights 3 weeks ago and have had to improvise my lifestyle to relief the pain I was experiencing. I just discovered your website last week and upon reading the advice others have written about, they reaffirm my personal techniques that I have come up with.
My only contribution is that swimming is the best form of exercise for this injury. And make sure to swim only backstroke or free style by *lightly* gripping a kickboard between your legs. This eliminates kicking which can hurt muscles around tailbone if you've torn them. Avoid breaststroke and butterfly for the same reason.
Thanks, Marvin
