Injections the key?

Jamie - jkj767@yahoo.com

Thanks so much to everyone who has emailed their stories.  It is nice to see I am not alone.  Being that I am 27 years old, I thought I was imagining all this pain I am having with my coccyx.  My pain is more of numbness that I feel while sitting, with some sharp pains while sitting and/or standing.  I just returned from a visit with my orthopedic doctor and he suggested an anti inflammatory drug as well as scheduling an appointment with a pain management doctor.  My pain is actually in the joint that connects my tail bone.

If you are like me you like to research everything a doctor tells you, so here a website I found that talks about the type of injections that may help us sufferers.   http://www.emedicine.com/orthoped/topic383.htm - Section 6

I will provide an update once I find out if the treatment cured me!  Let me know if anyone else has had the same symptoms!  Thanks Jamie
